The beach is about 300 meters away in a straight line, and approximately 1500 meters when going by road. The El Higueron area provides a mini train service, and there is a pick-up point right outside the building. The beach is a wide sandy beach with a nice seafront in both directions towards Fuengirola and Benalmadena. You will find a good selection of restaurants and small shops. The mini-train runs from 9.40 - 19.40 every day and will take you to Playa Beach (Carvajal) or to the top entrance of the El Higueron area where you will find a small shopping center with restaurants, cafes, pharmacy, supermarket, etc. From here you can walk to the charming Benalmadena Pueblo (approximately 25 minutes) or take the bus.

The Reserva del Higueron area has a lot to offer and the areas central part consists of the Double Tree Hilton & Nagomi Spa and Sports Club . The beautiful spa-area offers massage, beauty, and a hair salon and a variety of sports facilities.
